- Make a donation directly to the HOPE Cancer Help Centre.
- Make regular contributions through your employer. Your employer may have a donor’s choice charitable giving program that allows you to contribute to the charity of your choice through monthly deductions. Some employers will even match employee contributions up to a given amount.
- Make single or regular contributions specifying that your donation go to the HOPE Cancer Help Centre through the United Way in your community. The United Way will, for a small service fee, forward contributions to HOPE as specified by you.
- Make a gift in memory or tribute. You may make donations to HOPE in memory of a recently deceased loved one. You may choose to make contributions to HOPE each year on the anniversary of the passing of a family member or friend. (In Memoriam envelopes are available from the HOPE Centre and many funeral homes.)
- Leave a Legacy. Individuals who choose this option usually leave a bequest in a will, a gift annuity, or a life insurance gift to the HOPE Cancer Help Centre. There are requirements and may be limitations to leaving a legacy. We advise anyone wanting to leave a legacy, and to take advantage of the tax benefits, to consult with a qualified individual to ensure you understand limitations and requirements and understand all the options of leaving a legacy.
