- Annual Lymphoedema Workshop - The same workshop will be offered on two consecutive days. Participants will gain a better understanding of lymphoedema and how to manage its effects through manual lymphatic drainage techniques - Registration is limited to 8 per session, Friday, June 4th and Saturday, June 5th
- Annual Weekend Retreat held at Queen's House of Retreats in Saskatoon - The retreat provides cancer patients, their families, and care partners an opportunity to share their experiences and gain new coping tools while relaxing in a beautiful setting. PAST WORKSHOPS
- Sunday Brunch- Being held Sunday, September 13th, 2009 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Saskatoon CO-OP locations on 8th St. and 33rd St. You will be able to enjoy a nice brunch of ham and sausage, scrambled eggs, French toast, hash browns, tea, coffee or juice for $5.99 a plate. For every plate purchased, $1.00 will be donated to the HOPE Cancer Help Centre Inc. Please check Bulletins and Newsletters for full details.
- Winners Walk of Hope for Ovarian Cancer- Being held Sunday, September 13th at Rotary Park. Funds raised will go towards ovarian cancer research and Ovarian Cancer Canada programs involving education and awareness programs for women and health care professionals. Pledge sheets can be picked up at the HOPE Cancer Help Centre. For further information please check the newsletter or call the office at 955-4673.
- Monster Mash- Being held Friday, October 30th at the Travelodge Hotel on Circle Drive. The Ladies Chapter of the Saskatoon Progress Club has offered to hold a dinner and dance will all proceeds going to the HOPE Cancer Help Centre. There will also be a super raffle draw for a WestJet travel voucher for two. Tickets can be purchased at the Co-op Brunches and from HOPE members for $2.00 a ticket or 3 for $5.00.

Race for Recovery with the
"Run for Hope &
Health Training Program"
HOPE Cancer Help Centre and Brainsport The Running Store, presented Run for HOPE & Health Training Program. This free six week basic training program was held Thursday, March 18th. Participants trained with a local runner at Brainsport The Running Store at 6:30 p.m. each Saturday. For further information and to register for future programs, please contact Brainsport The Running Room at 244-0955 or drop by the store at 704 Broadway Avenue.
Run for HOPE and Health is for all people interested in running. However, the individual participant must take many factors into consideration as he or she proceeds with the training. This program was meant to inspire, teach, and encourage participants as they begun their journey of learning to run 5K. HOPE and Brainsport both promote an improved sense of health and well-being, an increase in physical and mental fitness, and an enhanced quality of life .Please, for the sake of your health and well-being, check with your physician before beginning this program then listen to your body as you proceed.
